Alternative Bildungsstätte und Zelten zugleich… politische Proteste, etwas anders verpackt.

Vom 07. Juni 2010 bis zum 11. Juni 2010 findet am Geschwister-Scholl-Platz in München, direkt vor der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität ein Sammelsurium statt, das wir Bildungscamp nennen wollen.

Der Bildungsgarten bietet dir bildungspolitische und politische Workshops, im Kabarettzelt kannst du dich kreativ ausleben, im Plenumszelt wird heftig debattiert werden, die VoKü auf dem Kulturrasen versorgt dich wie immer mit Getränken und veganen Gerichten, diesen Sommer außerdem mit dabei: der BringYourOwnSteak-Schwenkgrill. Und abends entspannst du dich mit Musik, Theater und einem kühlen Bier.

Das Ganze findet im Rahmen des bundesweiten Bildungsstreiks statt – und wie viele andere Städte organisieren wir auch in München am 09. Juni 2010 ab 12:00 Uhr eine Großdemonstration.

Wir treffen uns zur Vorbereitung jeden Freitag um 18:00 Uhr in den Räumen der Studierendenvertretung der LMU (Leopoldstr. 15). Komm einfach vorbei und misch mit! Bei Fragen und Anregungen kannst du jederzeit mit uns Kontakt aufnehmen. Wir freuen uns über jede helfende Hand!

Als nächstes ist Bayern dran, deshalb findet am Montag, den 10. Mai um 14 Uhr am Geschwister-Scholl-Platz in München eine Demo gegen Studiengebühren in Bayern statt: studiengebuehrenbayern.de

Am Freitag, den 5.03.2010, findet um 14 Uhr am Domplatz in Regensburg eine Demonstrationen unter dem Motto “Aufmucken statt weggucken” für ein gerechtes und demokratisches Schulsystem statt.
Kommt vorbei und demonstriert mit für kleinere Klassen, geringeren Leistungsdruck, wirkliche Lernmittelfreiheit und individuelle Förderung!

As the curtain falls today on the World Social Forum (WSF) in The Green City under the Sun, some will call it a success, others will doubt it. To some, WFS is indispensable; others question its value, if not its very nature and future.

The women’s movement had a stronger voice at Nairobi 2007 than in all other forums and has made genuine attempts to link their issues into other processes, Fatma Aloo, a member of the WSF organisation committee, said Wednesday.

All has been quiet on the WSF youth camp front. Southwest of the Moi Stadium venue, scores of empty tents give the camp a slightly abandoned look. It fits in with the criticism that year after year, the WSF has somewhat neglected its future generation.

Fresh calls went out on the first working day of the World Social Forum on Sunday for fundamental reforms of international institutions in favour of "democratic governance of globalisation" and "the promotion of more equitable development and respect for cultural, natural and gender diversity".
